.NAME Domain Names

Started in 2001, the .NAME domain extension is the only one supposed to be for personal websites only. These domains can include personal or fictional names, aliases and/or other labels people are famous by. Initially, only 3rd-level registrations were allowed, so if you wanted to buy john.doe.name, you were required to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was liberalized and second-level registrations were also allowed. Already purchased third-level domains remained online.

You will have the chance to switch the WHOIS contact information, to park your domain, to set up Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an already registered domain to our firm if you obtain its EPP transfer key from the current registrar firm and we will renew it once the transfer has been finalized.
