Using the JailHost option does not be a substitute for doing frequent script updates or using proper passwords, but it will minimize any damage to your sites significantly, so you'll need to fix only one website and not all of them.

JailHost in Cloud Website Hosting

We’ve included JailHost for all cloud website hosting solutions, so you will be able to protect any of your websites with just a couple of clicks in your Hepsia Control Panel. The feature is not active by default to avoid interfering with any Internet sites where you might want visitors or admins to access content from other folders in your account, but activating it for all your other Internet sites is really easy. Unlike some other Control Panels where many domains have their files in the same main folder, all domains and subdomains in Hepsia have their very own folders, making the control and the protection of multiple Internet sites easier. In the unfortunate scenario of a website getting hacked, the rest of your Internet sites will be shielded and we will have multiple daily backup copies for the infected one, therefore we can recover it to its initial state in a matter of minutes.

JailHost in Semi-dedicated Servers

JailHost comes with all our semi-dedicated server packages and you could activate it with several clicks. It is not activated by default because we do not want to prevent some scripts that may need to gain access to multiple folders in the account from working properly. You'll be able to enable JailHost for all other sites that you have from the Hepsia Control Panel and you can do this very easily even when you have no previous experience. What enables us to offer JailHost is the way Hepsia takes care of multiple domains - they all have individual folders which could be "locked". In contrast, other popular Control Panels feature add-on domains and their content is stored in the primary domain folder, so when a single site is hacked, the entire account is hacked, which isn't the case with Hepsia. If a site gets damaged despite your efforts, we will be able to recover it the way it was very quickly since we will store several daily backups of the entire account.
